Registration Underway for
2018 Annual Health Care Conference

The 2018 Annual Health Care Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge.  The conference is fast approaching, but there is still time to register online.

This year’s conference will feature local and national health care experts who will discuss issues including the future of the individual health market in Louisiana, alternative approaches to cost containment, and how the health insurance industry will be affected by recent federal initiatives including the newly released rules on Short-Term Plans and Association Health Plans.

Life, Health and Accident producers licensed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance can earn up to six hours of continuing education credits for attending the conference.

More information including an agenda and online registration is available at www.ldi.la.gov/healthconference

The annual conference is hosted by the Louisiana Department of Insurance in partnership with the Louisiana Health Care Commission, a multi-disciplinary advisory board tasked with reviewing and studying the issues affecting the availability, affordability and delivery of quality health care in Louisiana.
