Shreveport Bail Bond Agent Arrested, Issued a Cease and Desist Order,
Summary Suspension and Fine Notice

A Shreveport bail bond agent has been arrested, issued a cease and
desist order, summary suspension and fine notice today for alleged
theft through misrepresentation and misappropriation of premiums.
Her bail bond agencies were also issued cease and desist orders,
summary suspensions and fine notices.
Judy Webb, 39, was arrested by Louisiana State Police at Caddo Correctional
Center in Shreveport today and charged with one count of Felony Theft
totaling over $11, 275. She was also served with a cease and desist
order, summary suspension and $20,000 fine notice by Department of
Insurance Fraud Section Investigators for allegedly misappropriating
premium payments, deceitfully obtaining additional money from those
seeking bail bonds and allowing unlicensed entities to be paid valued
compensation.
Webb is sole owner of Agape Bail Bonds and El Shaddai Bail Bonds.
She also allowed an unlicensed individual to issue bail bonds under
an unlicensed entity, Baby Boy Bail Bonds, LLC. All three bail bond
agencies were issued cease and desist orders, revocation notices
and fine notices of $20,000 each.
Department
records show that Webb held a Bail Bond license from July 1999
until today’s action.
