Baker Agent Served With Cease and Desist Order, License Revocation and Fine

A Baker agent has been served with a cease and desist order, notice of license
revocation and fine notice today for alleged misappropriation of premiums.
Patikii Je Gibbs (a.k.a. Patikii Gibbs Powell), 55, was served by Department
of Insurance Fraud Section Investigators today with a cease and desist order,
notice of license revocation and a $1,500 fine notice. Gibbs allegedly misappropriated
$1,837 in insurance premiums. Her bond was applied to this amount, leaving
$1,309 that she still owes the company.
Department records show
that Gibbs held an Industrial Fire license from June 2008 through April
2009. She
was also issued a Home Service license
in June 2008 which was valid until today’s action.
